The General Managers Message

Sound foundations were used in the year 2000 to create the company, Emirates Marine Technologies.

Emirates Marine Technologies specializes in underwater vehicle activities, from the Conception and Development of programs, studies and designs, to the Manufacture of the corresponding products.

Emirates Marine Technologies has reached its present stage of development because of the clear-sighted support of His Highness, General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. As a result of his support and the co-operation of the UAE Special Operations Command, the early organization was able to meet the technological and operational challenges involved in the establishment of a viable business.

Emirates Marine Technologies has continued to develop as an organisation and has recently proven its capabilities in building 8 Swimmer Delivery Vehicles during 2002/2003. Today, there are over 20 units in different classes already in service.
 
 
The Company


Emirates Marine Technologies is located in Abu Dhabi, in United Arab Emirates. The Company specialized in:

  • The manufacturing and selling military Underwater Vehicles (particularly Swimmer Delivery Vehicles - SDVs), Fast Interceptors, and Patrol Boats.
  • The conception and installation of Underwater Security Systems.
The company provides all related Support Services (e.g., ILS, Technical Training, Operational Training, Technical Documentation and Manuals) with its products.

Emirates Marine Technologies staff provide a combination of technical competence, especially in electronics and composite materials, with operational experience acquired through service with Special Forces in Europe and the Middle East.
 
 
Marketing

Emirates Marine Technologies participates in the international evolution of its products, and is permanently in close collaboration with the principle equipment suppliers to the industry. This enables the Company to ensure that it can always provide latest developments in technology to its clients.
 
 
Subcontrating

The Research and Development team of Emirates Marine Technologies is constantly advancing the designs of the Company products. This R&D capability, plus the operational experience and the technical knowledge of the staff are permanently available to its customers, to ensure that their Forces always have the most advanced and most reliable products.
